How we check the numbers
Where the facts come from
Every price, integration and plan detail on this site comes from a page we opened: usually the vendor's own pricing page, integration list, help center, security or trust page, or a public record such as the App Store. A few prices come from a reseller or a news report when the vendor publishes none; those rows are labelled where they appear and never count as the vendor's published price. For each fact we store the page address, a short quote of the sentence that supports it, and the date we read it. You can see them in the Sources panel at the bottom of each page.
When a vendor's claim can't be checked independently (for example, how many clinicians use a product), we label it as the vendor's claim. When we couldn't find something, we leave it blank rather than guess.
How often we re-check
An automated check re-reads every pricing page each week and flags any price that has changed; we confirm the change and record it in the price change log. Each table shows the date it was last checked.
How rankings work
Buyer's guides rank products with a points rubric that is published on each guide. Scores are calculated from the facts in our data (price, free tier, EHR integrations and the plan they need, BAA availability, platforms), not from impressions. The same rubric applies to every product on the list.
What we don't claim
We have not used these products with patients. The scores on buyer's guides come from the published rubric, not from hands-on use. Where user reviews matter, we cite the public source, such as App Store ratings with the rating count and the date.
How AI is used here
We use AI tools to help draft and check text. Every fact in a draft is checked against our stored sources before it is published, and the numbers in tables are generated from the data files, not typed by hand.
